Internship opportunity at the Office of Admissions

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are enjoying the time off from school--I know I have! I am currently the communications intern at the University of Minnesota Office of Admissions. The directors are looking for an additional intern to help with the copious amount of new projects we are working on. The internship would begin in the spring and continue over the summer. Some of the duties will include:

• Project management
• Administrative tasks
• Blog writing
• Editing

I really enjoy working at the Office of Admissions. It is a fast-paced environment full of great people. I have improved my writing and editing skills, learned how to use many data and project management tools, and learned how to effectively manage my time. My favorite part about the job is writing the Gopher Blog about life as a University of Minnesota student. I also enjoy talking to prospective students and families at various recruitment events.
